How To Adjust To Being A Stay At Home Mum

By
As a stay at home Mum today you are making a difficult choice because in many peoples eyes you might be considered to be a kept woman or someone who gets to sit at home all day watching Daytime TV.
One piece of advice that I would love to share with any new Mum making the choice to be a stay at home Mum is to also make it a new beginning for yourself.
Those 5 years are going to fly by and instead of feeling that you conquered the tallest mountain in the world you can sometimes totally lose your identity, feel out of touch with other people and completely lose the plot when it comes to engaging your brain cells in anything other than baby chit chats.
Are you ready for a new challenge?
Avoid The Stay At Home Mum Slump
To stop yourself from slipping into a bit of a slump, take this amazing opportunity to set up now what you have always wanted to do.
With a WordPress Blog as your website you will suddenly be totally in control and ready to start your own business even if you only grab an hour a day to work on it.
You will find that just as nursery and school approaches you have a business set up and generating more income than you ever got exchanging your time for money.
Plus you will have the perfect business model to fit around school holidays too.
Turn Your Time and Experience Into a Home Based Business
The chances are if you have a baby that is at least 16 months old by now you will have noticed that some of the toys you have bought have been next to useless, the extremely handy fold down pushchair does not fit in the back of the car, and the wipe clean high chair is not quite so wipe clean.
There is still plenty of scope to create new educational toys, baby equipment or helpful books about Toddlers Tantrums, Baby Sleeping Problems, Healthy Eating Recipes etc
It is something you have a lot of experience with which makes you the expert to any new Mums looking for help and guidance.
Open An Amazon Store To Get Going With
You can affiliate to most products on Amazon through their Amazon Associates scheme, you can then add an Amazon store to your website for selling everything baby related.
When you have your WordPress Blog set up you can simply add your Amazon store to your navigation bar for an instant shop online.
Run Your Day And Junior Will Love You For It
Run your day and make it eventful and diverse. The tendency is to allow babies and toddlers to run your day when it really is the other way round.
Time management for days that can easily span 12 hours or more (9 to 5 is a luxury) breaking each day down into half hour or one hour sections will help you organise activities just as you would in a working day.
Allocate time for breakfast, lunch and dinner and then plan Toddler Groups, Trips, Visiting, Shopping, Play Activities and House Management tasks throughout the week.
Ask For Support For An Hour A Day 5 Days A Week And Make It Count
Time to focus on your business is precious time so schedule an hour a day 5 days a week and make it count. Make sure that everyone close to you knows how important this time is for you and for everyone else.
Do not be afraid to challenge the things as they are and flip the stay at home Mum role on its' head as the preparation for creating your first million dollar business!
That feeling of not contributing now will go flying out of the window and suddenly you are on a mission with a whole new energy and a whole new direction.

Getting Your First 1000 Visitors

By
Webmasters always dream of the day when their site will get its first 1000 visitors. It is a well-known fact that we need at least a few thousand visitors to make money from our blog. There are many search engine optimization techniques which are not so effective in bringing the traffic to our site from Google organic search results. With all this hustle and bustle at Google, more than half of the webmasters have quit blogging rendering their site useless after wasting both time and money in its creation and promotion.
Believe it or not: if you do not know search engine optimization you should not be in the blogging world. A good well-structured site is the basic requirement for having a good site which will bring a lot of Google traffic to your site. When I say search engine optimization it includes both on-page and off-page search engine optimization. The first part is difficult no doubt but the second part is even more difficult and makes us go crazy when we see that we work so hard for the search engine optimization stuff and the search engines are not bothered of ranking us high at all!
Google has recently changed its algorithm as we all know which makes it much more difficult for us to get to the first page of Google. Content is king and it is content that Google is searching for. There may be people who have very little posts on their blog yet they are getting traffic: Google will definitely catch them. The truth is that Google wants sites filled with lot of content.
The present algorithm demands a site which has dynamically changing content. This is a very difficult task for individual bloggers yet Google is now paying more attention to how frequently every blog gets updated in order to see who are actually maintaining a blog just the way a blog should be maintained. Building links is a very big nightmare now because Google is not at all bothered to take a look at the no-follow links for they are not considered to be a vote of trust and almost all the links on the internet which are freely and easily available are no follow links which do not add any value to your site as the link juice does not pass through.
Quality site and quality articles are the only means of getting good traffic to your site with the present situation of Google. Gone are the days when people built huge number of links and cheated Google by showing that they are very good at marketing and getting high targeted traffic from Google. Now it is pure content which can probably save your site on the internet.
One reason why many webmasters fail is because they never see the latest changes that have taken place in the Google algorithm. Hence they never understand how they can get traffic from Google. Before deciding other things you first need to understand what is actually needed to get traffic to your site: search engine traffic or the social networking traffic.
If you are not good at search engine optimization try your luck with social marketing. There is a lot of effort involved in social marketing which involves making friends online and putting links of your latest posts on the social networking sites which give you a very high traffic. No wonder search engine optimization is difficult but the efforts are well rewarded once you get to the top of Google search results. So keep on adding good content to your site to get first in the search engines and enjoy new visitors coming to your site every day.
See more on how you can get 1000 new visitors to your site at my blog.

How to Make Passive Income With a Blog Website for Free

By
Creating a website and monetizing it to make passive income is probably one of the most straight forward things you can do to make money in this world. The best part about such a strategy is that you can do this without having any start up cash. Yes, you heard me right...you can build a website and make money from it without having to spend any money.
Get a website
First let's understand how this process works. The first thing you will need to do is get a website. Actually, before you can get a website you will need to decide on a name for that website. Pick something related to one of your hobbies. Let's try something like "make-alot-of-cash" and go from there. A website name is like your mailing address. No one can find your website if there is no address, right? OK this key part is done, so what's next?
Buy a domain
Once you have decided on a name for your website you will need to purchase a domain. This is basically how you get the www. and the .com part of your address. So if you purchased a domain for your site it would cost around $11 per year and it would look like this www.make-alot-of-cash.com">http://www.make-alot-of-cash.com</a>. Once this part is done, you can move to the next step.
Get hosting for your website
Once you have chosen a name and purchased a domain for your site you will need to set up hosting. Hosting is basically where all your content for your webpage will be stored. This is where you will put your pictures, backgrounds, and other files related to your website. You can estimate hosting to cost around $5 per month.
So as it stands you have spent a one time payment of around $10 and you will be paying around $5 per month to get hosting fees for your site. But, wait....I did say you could do this for FREE!!! Here is how.
Why Pay When you Can Do it all for Free
Instead of purchasing a domain and paying monthly for hosting, you can skip this part of the process by going to some free blog websites like WordPress and Google's Blogger service. Both of these programs give you free webpages AND they will also host your pages (drumroll) for FREE!!
They are simple to set up and you could be up and running in minutes. I did some webpages for a while back in college but I actually got started again recently by creating a Blogger webpage. Once I got the hang and feel for it and made some money, I moved on to creating another webpage which is now my main site.
Check out Blogger or WordPress and you can get started with your free webpage today.
Monetize the site For Free
I saved the best for last and this is the last thing you will need to do anyway. There is a very popular money making program called AdSense which is run by Google. With this program you sign up with Google and if accepted Google will place relevant ads on your webpage.
If you have a site about dogs, Google will place ads about dogs on your website. You will get paid every time someone clicks on one of your AdSense ads. I signed up for AdSense and got my first commission in less than two weeks. This is not a bad return for something that cost you nothing to put together.
I currently use AdSense on my sites and nothing is more fun than logging in to my AdSense account and seeing that someone clicked on one of my ads and I earned my commission.
So if someone were to visit my page right now and click on my ads, I would get paid. And the best part is that this is all free so the money is all profit.

How Many Blog Posts Should You Publish in a Month?

By
You will discover that there are many tools by which you can use to promote your business when you put your service or a product online. Your primary tool, of course, is your own website where all the information and all your marketing strategies are laid bare so your target audience can patronize your services and products. Another online tool that can help you in your online promotional marketing strategy is blogging. It is short to say that blogs are the most used tool online to promote an Internet business. But what if you are new to blogging? How do you use blogging so it can result in an effective traffic for your site? This is where the perennial question about blogging comes in: how many blog posts should you publish in a month?
The real answer to the question of how many blog posts should you write and publish on your blog site is it depends. There are many angles and factors when it comes to effective blogging. Those who are experts and have experience using this online tool even differ on their approach regarding this issue. You can reach a dependable answer on this question by following your instincts. But less, you forget, it is not blogging if you only post once a year. Definitely, it is not.
So what should you consider when deciding on how many blog posts should you publish in a month? You must know that there are bloggers who post 3-4 times within a day and there are those who merely publish posts once a week. Both of these types of bloggers, unexpectedly, can do well in their business and get away with the frequency of their blog postings. You can apply this to your own online business by finding the publishing frequency that is appropriate with yours.
Say, if you have a technology and gadgets blog, you can probably blog 3-4 times a day. This usually entails a lot of writers working behind your blog site. The reason behind the frequency in this kind of blog is the inherent nature in technology-based blogging. There is the factor of fast-paced development and news going on regarding technology. Moreover, the demand for constant information on this subject is overwhelming. If you have a different topic or business, then apply your frequency of blogging in conjunction with the nature of your business.
In spite of the many factors that play behind how much you should blog in a month and the different advices you may get from experts in the field, the bottom line is that the more you blog the more traffic you get for your site. This is something that cannot be denied. The more blog posting you have done for your online business makes search engine index these posts. This inevitably will generate traffic for you. A typical modest blogging activity of 15 posts in a month will generate an estimated 50% increase in traffic if blogging is increased by 45 blog postings. So that basically answer your question on how frequent should you publish in your blog per month.

Three Free Methods to Promote Your Website

By
Let's face it anyone can start a website. And the internet is full of examples of this fact. As an owner of a website what we really want is for out site to stand out. We want traffic! So, we have to concentrate on the look, feel and content of our site. I suggest first deciding on the niche you want to occupy. That is what you want your site to be about. Once you've done a little research into your niche you can really make some ground on the look, feel, and content of your site. But, once we've decided on these factors what can we do to make traffic want to come to our site? Luckily, there are a few different options that you have at your disposal for promoting a website. I want to talk about a few free options that we have.
The first free promotional method, and in my opinion, the most important, is having your site search engine optimized (SEO). This of course goes along with your content decisions but, with the back door of your website administrative controls you can alter these at anytime. And the content of a well traveled site has got to be in a state of continuous refinement. Thanks to search engines the right keyword usage on your website can make all the difference. With a good SEO plan you can make companies like Yahoo and Google work for you. As search engines it's their job to match people with content rich material on the subjects of their searches. Search engines employ computer programs called spiders to "crawl" around the web and compile lists of search terms and their locations on the internet. If you take the time to make your website content rich with somewhere between 5 and 10 percent keyword saturation you stand a much better chance of being noticed by these spiders.
Spiders connect the web for reference so, the more links to your site you have out there, the greater web area you cover for the spiders to notice. To this purpose we can employ social medias like Twitter and Facebook as our second free promotional method. Social media offers us the ability to promote our sites among our friends, fans, and followers. After all, shouldn't everyone you know know about your business. You need to be careful promoting your business on a personal page, however. Facebook will block you if you promote to much on a personal page. You can get around this for now by posting sparsely in reference to your business. But, for me the best way around this is a Facebook fan page. This will allow you to set up a page dedicated to your business while posting links to your fan page on your personal page. Thus allowing you to keep your friends and fans up to date on your business.
The last method is writing articles to promote your website. There are quite a few article publishing networks out there. Most of which you can join for free. All you have to do is meet their requirements for article submission. This method works in a couple of different ways. First, we are meeting the spiders requirements of multiple links back to our sites thus helping our search engine rankings. Each article you get published is able to be re posted by you or anyone who views it. Again increasing the number of links back to our sites because anyone who re posts an article must post it as it was originally published. That means all of your author information and hyperlinks get re posted with it. Secondly you are joining a community of people who write articles for the same reasons as you are. A percentage of these people will inevitably read your articles and follow the links. Hopefully being converted into sells.
As I said before, as an owner of a website, regardless what kind of site it is, all we hope for is good quality traffic. These are by far not the only methods of promotion but, they are some of the easiest and again they are free. Hopefully with these methods or some variations of these methods you will find success promoting your website and getting that all elusive, quality, convertible traffic.

Four Free, Proven Strategies to Boost Your PageRank in Google

By
PageRank is a number between 0-10. Yes, when your at a zero ranking you are not even on the scale. A ranking of 10 is the highest. If you want to learn about details or see how a PageRank can be calculated then search for "PageRank" in Wikipedia.com. Google and Yahoo don't publicize the formula they use to calculate PageRank, in fact I am not sure Yahoo is still doing PageRank. Google definitely is, and if you want to grow your site be sure to monitor your PageRank there.
The overall principal to improving your PageRank is associating your web pages or blog with other web sites that are similar to what your site is providing. For example, if your key words are about baking, recipes, and selling sweets you want to be connected with sites that are similar. You don't want to be connected with sites that are selling auto parts or dealing with concepts that are not relevant to your key words. Get your self associated with sites like yours. The PageRank spiders do explore the content on your site and the sites you are connected with.
Many people just put up a site or blog, do no regular search engine submissions, no articles linking to their web pages, and have less that 50 links to other relevant web sites - so they end up with a PageRank of 0-2.
How can you improve the PageRanking of your web site or blog, without taking money out of your pocket?
1. Get connected to the web in general. Put the word out about your services and products. This can be easily accomplished by submitting free press releases and distributing articles that you have written to free article sites.
2. Do some reciprocal linking with other web sites. Go looking for sites that compliment your web pages or have similar products. Ask them to exchange links with you. There are rumors other there that say too many links are bad on a web site or hurt your PageRank. If that is the case, then why did ShastaConect.com go from a zero to 3 PageRank in six months? That site has over 300 links on it. And, those links are all relevant and similar to the key words and phrases being used there.
3. Step out with social marketing. Set up a Twitter account, Facebook account, or LinkedIn account and make some posts that include links back to your web pages. This is an easy way to accomplish distributing your news, gain some new site visitors, and increase your visibility.
Those three efforts will increase your backlinks. A backlink is simply a web site or blog that links back to your web page. You can get more specific info in wikipedia when you search on "backlink" but we can use this simple definition I have provided to understand what you need to do. Get more backlinks to your web pages. But, make sure they are coming from decent sites. The search engines do calculate and monitor the backlinks to your site.
You can explore what your PageRank is at the this site: http://www.microsoft-watch.org/cgi-bin/ranking.htm.
Folks I have shared time tested and proven strategies in this article. I promise that if you do these four ideas for just two hours a week - continuing over four or five months, you will see positive expansion in your web endeavors. Improving your web site ranking is not a fast food restaurant, there is no drive through lane. It takes time to gain higher visibility and anyone telling you different is probably selling you some swampland but calling it a "one of a kind" location.
Be patient, be diligent, and the rewards will appear.

Alexa And Google PageRank - When To Check Your Website's Stats?

By
Every webmaster at some point starts to worry about his/her website's rankings and how much traffic the site is receiving on a daily basis. They work hard every chance they get to promote their site through social networks and by commenting on other blogs. But what happens when you work hard for a few hours per day and then you wait till the midnight update to check your stats only to find that you've gained nothing or at least nothing close to the amount of work you put into it?
In order to measure how fast your site is gaining traffic, you need to know what to check for and more importantly when to check. Two things that matter so much especially to advertisers when they evaluate your site are Alexa Rank and Google PageRank.
If you have an Alexa Rank lower than one hundred thousand, it simply means that your site is in the top 0.1 percentile which is an indication that your site has a high amount of traffic, however the quality of your site depends on the quality of back-links it has with other high quality sites. This is where Google PageRank play a very important role.
Google divided their page ranks between 1-10. Usually websites with a rank of at least 4 are considered very high on quality, and those with a page rank 6 or higher are considered superb. It's very difficult to get a page rank higher than 6 unless you're a big company or perhaps even a search engine.
This brings us to our main topic today of when should you check your website's stats? Alexa updates their ranks every night usually around midnight, so this means that if you left "DOFOLLOW" comments on high quality blogs then an hour later you check your Alexa Rank, you simply will not see any difference. You have to wait until Alexa updates their database.
Also if you leave your comments after an Alexa crawler had already visited that website and checked any new links coming out of it, then waiting for the midnight update still wont help, since Alexa already visited that website once that day, you're going to have to wait till the next visit by Alexa on the next day. Keep in mind that part of Alexa's evaluation to your site includes how many people visited your site while having the Alexa Tool-Bar installed.
Now, if you think that Google's page ranks are any easier, think again! Google usually updates its ranks once every few months, usually a few times per year. So if you keep checking your Google PageRank everyday especially if you're a new website, you will get discouraged and disappointed every time you check because not only is it very difficult to gain a rank with Google, it also takes a long time.
Make sure to do all your site promotions before any search engines (at least Google) or other services (such as Alexa) visit the sites your promoting on in order to make it into the update cycle of that day.

Yes it very tempting because traffic exchange site can help in increasing your page rank but this is against Google AdSense Program Policies and doing this may result to cancellation of your site to Google AdSense program.

Online Surveys - How to Spot the Good Ones

By
Online surveys are not all created equal. Some paid surveys will take you 30 minutes to take and will pay you only 50 cents and some will take 5 minutes and pay you $50 dollars. There is no guaranteed way to see exactly how much money you will make. A majority of online surveys that I take are sent to me through my E-Mail. Most of these emails will say in the subject or message line how much the survey pays and what the expected length of time for the survey will be. At first I always ignored surveys that were very low paying and only took the ones that paid big bucks. I would be constantly deleting many survey opportunities. I started to notice a trend that all the really high paying surveys would be filled up really quickly, so unless you started the survey right away, often they would not be looking for any more opinions.
I started to take the smaller paying surveys and then I noticed the trend that has been the reason I have made so much money doing this. The companies will offer a small amount of money, and after you fill out the survey, they will offer you a second survey which will be the big money surveys. After I noticed this I started to take all of the smaller money surveys and now I know exactly how to get the best ones. I have noticed that the ones that say they only are going to take 5 minutes or less are the best ones. These are the best because they will ask you a few quick screening questions and they almost always prompt you in the end for a big money opinion survey, or a paid product test survey.
I think paid product test surveys are the highest paying because they usually require you to give your home address and then take a follow-up survey after you have used the product. They usually will dangle a good amount of money in front of you to prevent you from just getting the product for free and never taking the follow-up survey. For the market research company the follow-up survey is the most important part of the whole process so you can be assured that they definitely are going to pay you big money at the end of the survey. Another good thing about taking the quick 5 minute surveys is you will start to notice that once you are signed up with enough panels you can start to make good money even taking 50 cent surveys.
Most of the surveys say they take between 15-25 minutes, but I assure you I can knock out a 25 minute survey in about 5-7 minutes. It's not that I don't read the questions; it's just that I have been doing this every day for a while and the layouts of the survey all end up looking the same. Once you know the layout of the survey you can easily take it fast. Hope this helps. If you are looking for a good survey panel take a look at my website and blog at http://www.bestonlinesurveywebsite.com/. Happy survey taking.

How to Find Legitimate Free Paid Survey Sites

By

In this day and age we are bombarded by a myriad of making income from home schemes. Our spam folders have more offers for grandiose incomes than anything else and believe it or not a lot of people are duped by the process. Before we get into how to find the safe, legitimate ones, we need to understand how to spot the fake and illegitimate ones that are jading people all over the country from getting their fair opportunities.
For one, any site that makes you register first with a ton of personal information should be suspect. They ask you to do this just to get you to be on a mailing list for a load of 'partner' spam mail, which will flood your mail box quite shortly after you start. Some of them offer free products; again this is a scam and should be avoided, this is to get you to fill out 'partner offers' so you can get spammed to death. Another, even more dangerous one is the questionnaire one that you have to fill out, they are miles long and will lay you open enough to tell the world what cookies to unleash on to your hard drive.
For example, when they tell you to answer questions about where you usually shop or what brand detergent you use, you will soon see advertisements for these such things in your in box and because you gave them your e mail address, they are white listed and you will have to move them to your spam folder. They talk you into doing this by telling you that they need to know what products they can give you surveys on. Yeah, you may get one survey after that and not a legitimate paid survey if you get any at all and before you know it, viola you have your information all over every list on the planet!
The way to get to real legitimate survey sites is much simpler than you think. There are enough people out there that are taking online surveys and getting burned. This works to your favor in the way that they are quickly blacklisted, and when they are, it will be permanently on search engines. All you really need to do is a complete market search and read the posts for scams and forums. People are definitely willing to help because of their experiences and on top of that, they will gladly give you a list of legitimate paid surveys.

Ideas For How To Make A Blog Popular

By
If you are undertaking any online marketing then you should be interested in how to make a blog more popular. This statement is made on the basis that you already have a blog to interact with your market and if you don't, then you are missing out on a very effective platform not just to gain internet coverage but also as a focal point for your niche.
One of the essential factors for how to make a blog more popular is to make sure you are providing the visitor with some but not all of the information that they are searching for. How to answer the very question of what they want is through the research that you will have undertaken for the niche in relation to the keywords used to search for such information. You can then tailor the blog posts and the article pages to these exact keywords that are being targeted.
Just think about this for a moment. Look on a prospect as having a pressing need or desire to solve a problem or seek progress with an interest and thus require certain information giving them the answers to do so. They use certain keywords for their search and find their way to your blog. It not only has the exact information that is helpful to them at that very moment but also the visitor finds many other posts of similar quality and helpful information about others subjects within their interest. Do you think that they will return on a regular basis? Ask yourself if you think that they will then be inclined to take time to read recommendations that you make for paid products which can either be your own or an affiliate offer? Keep providing them with up to date, topical and helpful information and you will have a popular bog.
When you do provide all this information it is important to take on board two points. The first is to ensure that the writing style you adopt is not too formal and straight laced. Blogs are an interactive platform so your style of writing should reflect this. To put it simply, do not bore your readers. Nowadays, internet marketers are faced with the problem of short attention spans and anything that drags on and does not interest or enthuse a reader will most likely not be returned to. The writing style adopted should be of chattier, entertaining and certainly engaging. The purpose is for the reader to enjoy and be informed with a desire to take the very action you ask and also to try and get them to return on a regular basis.
In addition to shorter bog posts of around three to four hundred words, why not consider the use of video? Again, you have to take into consideration the factor that many people do not want to go through lots of written text and would prefer to watch and listen to a short video. There is the opportunity to create a series of videos centered around one topic and in addition to this also write some blog posts in order to provide the information in two distinct formats. This will also help the page ranking for the search engines as you will then have links pointing to your blog from the likes of YouTube where you can host the videos.
Blogging is just so important for an online marketer as part of their strategy to gain authority within their chosen niche market. Therefore it is very important to understand how to make a blog popular so that there is not just a steady flow of targeted traffic coming to it, but many of these visitors then return on a regular basis.
No online marketing profits yet? Have you tried methods but they appear not to work? Are you tired of spending time with no progress? Do you feel like giving up? Want the answers with a proven internet marketing strategy plan. Get Michael T's free "Internet Marketing Insider's Report" now at how to make a blog popular.

Creating Blogs That Last

By
Creating blogs with a long life span requires an ongoing effort which is why so many people fail to do so! It is best to consider blogging sites as living organisms that are in need of constant nurturing in order to survive. Of course the 'nurturing' being referred to here is the effort a person invests when creating content for their blog posting needs which once again will be an ongoing process! At this point it is important to realize there are 3 other aspects that must be successfully addressed for the site to gain and retain readers!
Exposure - Get It
Your blog posting allows you to ping the search engines for highly focused and targeted traffic and is a great start but there's more you can do! Promoting your site is another ongoing responsibility you'll need to undertake to maximize your exposure! Now there are many other ways you can drive or attract visitors to your site such as social networking, article submissions and even leaving comments at other blogging sites within your niche! The point is don't rely upon just one strategy but rather mix it up to get the best results!
Credibility - Earn It
When creating content you must be mindful of its quality in terms of usefulness, relevancy and even accuracy! The updates that appear on your site are like a 'calling card' that indicates to visitors what they can expect! The better the quality you offer the more credibility you stand to gain in the eyes of your readers! This is huge since you'll get much more 'referral' traffic this way which is some of the best kind you can hope for and when it is generated in a viral fashion the amount you receive can be significant! The blogging sites that gain the most credibility are usually also the ones with the most traffic as well!
Staying Power - Keep It
Over the short and long haul it's all about a consistent persistent effort on your part in terms of continually serving up good reading material. Blog posting is the most basic and vital task any blogger can perform and must be done in a consistent fashion to make your presence known. In addition your consistency will also send out the signal to visitors that you intend to be a reliable source to them for the information they seek! Of course this is assuming your updates 'deliver' something of value but it is your consistency that will just keep people returning which is exactly what you want!
Creating blogs that develop a loyal following is NOT a whimsical act but more a methodical process. Part of that process of course will be creating content for blog posting but this is simply the start! Blogging sites also need a steady stream of readers before they really qualify as a success and this also can only be accomplished with an ongoing effort! As the discussion above clearly indicates creating content for the site is merely the beginning of a process that must be sustained if the platform is to develop a loyal following! The best blogging sites are generally the ones where the site administrator has a strong passion for the topic which is blogged about! If this sounds like you the chances of your success will be way above average!

Writing Blog Content That Builds Traffic

By
When composing blog content your focus must be on creating something visitors have an interest in reading! Falling into the habit of simply writing content just so you have another update to post can easily cost you readers! If you don't spark their interest in some way people will simply move on to another site never to return! The only way you can expect to build traffic is by creating a buzz about the content you post. When this happens not only do more visitors turn up but more return as well!
Presenting something people have an interest in reading is the only way to build traffic on your blog and here are 3 tips on how you can do so!
Hot Topic - New Spin
Locating hot topics is fairly easy to do with the use of online searches, comments left and even visiting social sites to peek in on what they're are talking about! What you want to do is present a new perspective or perhaps share your insights if you have any when writing content based upon these topics. By doing so you are having readers 'stretch' their thinking since your views are not something they've likely seen before! With that being said you are also insuring what you wrote 'smacks' of originality since these thoughts are uniquely your own!
Use Words Wisely
When writing content be mindful of how you are delivering your thoughts in terms of being both clear and concise! Readers have many choices when it comes to viewing material they may have an interest in reading so don't challenge them with your delivery! Also and this is important, you want to focus on your ability to 'communicate' your points and NOT on showing off your vocabulary! Allow the dictionary to collect dust and 'speak' as simply as you can since in most cases if you're not familiar with a word your reader won't be either!
Provoke More Report Less
Taking a stance counter to what most viewers may feel you can certainly gain their attention and likely a few comments as well! Here too you can focus on a popular subject and propose a few points not necessarily embraced by the general public! When doing so be sure you can 'reasonably' back up your stance in a logical manner which will help to create a bit of a 'brain twister' for viewers! Provoking thought and/or reaction in this way can give visitors an incentive for returning to see if they may have an interest in reading future updates of yours! In the very least you have created a slight buzz which can and will help to build traffic to your 'humble' platform!
Posting blog content that people have a genuine interest in reading involves more than simply offering viewers facts, figures and news! You want and need to engage visitors in a way that both informs and stimulates them as our discussion above suggest in the 3 tips offered! Remember in order to build traffic on your blog visitors need to see something they can't anywhere else and presented in a way they can easily view! By keeping this in mind when writing content as a blogger, you stand a much better chance of readers returning time and again!

How to Save Time With Your Blogs

By
The word blog is an acronym or an abbreviation for the phrase web log. Blogs are another imaginative means of information sharing on the internet. Blogs have become the average person's approach to providing their own individual viewpoint to everyone as well as become a worldwide classroom from which the writer can instruct and impart wisdom and experience to their readers. It is a way of making your experience available to anybody who has an interest in looking at it.
Auto-blogging saves the blog writer time and continues to permit them to deliver articles for their blog regularly. By installing plug-ins on your blog it is refreshed automatically with content from other sources. A plug-in is a set of software components that adds specific competencies to a more robust software application. As an example, plug-ins are used in internet browsers to play videos or scan for 'trojans' - destructive programs that can steal information or harm a computer system.
In auto-blogging, a plug-in is set up that snags information from a variety of sources and puts it on a blog. The blog owner provides fresh articles, according to the boundaries in place, and saves time from actually undertaking any work.
Auto-blogging has started the dialogue concerning the legitimacy of this use of auto-blogs. The information produced by an auto-blog is reused content material. It takes another person's work and puts it on a blog. Unless the original author is credited with producing the information, the information is technically ripped off. If the information is protected by copyright or not, is not the problem. The situation and complaint of individuals who have had their work appear on some other site or blog devoid of credit is the genuine dilemma. This gets to be especially important if the writer is using their blog to earn money.
Auto-blogging, although it may seem like an efficient way of adding to a blog, is taking the lazy way out. People that utilize the internet to locate information are usually in search of fresh thoughts and commentary. Auto-blogs just repeat exactly the same information and reveals it in some other location.
The entire point of developing blogs on an autoblog basis is to minimize your workload, but in order to develop a quality blog, you'll want to keep an eye on the type of content being published to your blog, ensuring that it's relevant and targeted towards your market.
This process doesn't have to take a lot of time, and considering how much your workload has been reduced, you can simply spend an hour or two each week going over content updates, tweaking keywords, and optimizing your site as it grows.
